Aria Mehrabi
Aria Mehrabi "is Principal and Co-Founder of Pacific Star Capital, a Real Estate Investment Fund focused on the acquisition of retail and office properties across the United States. Dr. Mehrabi received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned his Ph.D. in international affairs and economic development at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, where he wrote and conducted field research on Iran's information revolution and its transformative effects on politics, religion, and the economy.
"A published poet, he has also worked as a Middle East risk consultant to the RAND Corporation and lectured on international affairs at Georgetown University. Dr. Mehrabi supports a range of programs dedicated to combating human trafficking, including the Johns Hopkins University Protection Project, an organization that seeks to educate civil society and governments on global trafficking issues. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, serves on the Leadership Council of the New America Foundation and also serves on the Board of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at USC." [1]
