Biographical Information

"Andrew Dilnot has been Principal of St Hugh's College Oxford since 2002, and a Pro Vice Chancellor at Oxford since 2005. He has been a Trustee since June 2009 and in July 2010 was appointed chair of the Commission on the Funding of Care and Support.

"An economist by training, Andrew was Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies from 1991 to 2002. He is also heavily involved in the debate about the use and understanding of statistics. He was the founding presenter of BBC Radio 4’s series on mathematics and statistics, More or Less. He has been the Chairman of the Statistics Users Forum since 2009."[1]
