Amy R. West "is Program Director at the Center for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution at Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, with concentrations in Human Rights & Refugee Studies and Comparative Political Analysis. She has nine years of comparative policy experience working with refugees, asylum-seekers and victims of torture in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. In addition, she has been a Consultant for ARTICLE 19: The Global Campaign for Free Expression, a free-lance writer for SARAI Reader, and volunteers with a non-profit organization supporting HIV/AIDS clinics in sub-Saharan Africa."
