21st Century Systems Inc. is one of the 2,000+ corporations featured in the Washington Post's 2-year long investigative series, Top Secret America, in which Post investigative journalists Dana Priest and William Arkin uncovered the massive, "seen, but invisible" underbelly of that has unfurled inside of the post September 11, 2001 National Security State apparatus within the United States.[1][2]

It is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, with offices also in Arlington, Virginia (home of the Pentagon); McCook, Nebraska; and Crown Point, Indiana; as well.

Their website states that they are "proud to be an Employer Partner with the Army Reserve.An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required for most positions."[3]

What They Do

Accoring to their website, "[s]ince 1996 [they have] been awarded numerous software Research and Development contracts with the US federal government, covering a wide variety of customer end-user requirements. [Their] contracts include multi-year prime and sub, and single-scope prime and sub contracts to provide advanced force protection, border security and anti-terrorism technology solutions to the US military and foreign military services, advanced software Research and Development work covering a spectrum of decision support technology needs, and professional technical services."[4]
