Top Secret America is a massive two-year investigative journalism project conducted by investigative journalists William Arkin and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Dana Priest of the Washington Post that they unfurled on July 19, 2010. It was a 3-day series in the print-edition and is also a large online database that attempts to unpack and expose the massive proliferation of the post-September 11, 2001 growth of the United States National Security State that is "seen, but invisible."[1]
