International Campaign for Tibet

The International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) was founded in 1988 and is a non-profit membership organization with offices in Washington, DC; Amsterdam, Berlin and Brussels. They "fundamentally believe that there must be a political solution based on direct dialogue between the Dalai Lama and his representatives and the People's Republic of China."

"ICT has a 17-year record of achievement advancing the Tibetan cause - and the vision and leadership of the Dalai Lama - in the halls of Congress and in international forums." [1]

Light of Truth Awards

"The International Campaign for Tibet presents the Light of Truth award to individuals and institutions who have made significant contributions to the public understanding of Tibet and the fight for human rights and democratic freedoms for the Tibetan people." [2]
