Zena Ali-Ahmed "is from Lebanon and is a policy adviser for UNDP specialising in local development and community based reconciliation and conflict resolution working in the Middle East. From 1996 to 2003 Zena was UNDP programme manager for poverty and local governance. Prior to that, she managed a USAID funded Middle East government institution strengthening programme." [1]
