The Yitzhak Rabin Center "was established in 1997, on the basis of a law, to commemorate the life and activities of Yitzhak Rabin, and to draw the lessons from the murder - its circumstances and implications." [1]

"Avi D. Pelossof is the chairman of the Friends of the Yitzhak Rabin Center for Israel Studies, a not-for-profit organization, whose goal was to establish the center and who is currently concentrating on raising funds in Israel and abroad for the expansion of the center's activities." [2]
