Yaron Brook

Yaron Brook is the President of the Ayn Rand Institute and an advocate of Rand's philosophy of objectivism. He is a speaker at the International Conference on Climate Change (2009), organized by the Heartland Institute think tank. [1]
Brook was born in Israel, "served as a first sergeant in Israeli military intelligence." He became a U.S. citizen in 2003. His educational background is in finance. "In 1998 he cofounded a financial advisory firm, BH Equity Research, of which he is presently managing director and chairman," according to his profile on the Ayn Rand site. In his talks and writing, Brook "explain[s] the moral foundations of capitalism and defend[s] the rights of businessmen to act in a free market unfettered by government regulation," the profile states.
