The Wood Panel Industry exists to "raise within Parliament issues of concern to the Wood Panel Industry, its employees and customers, and to exert some influence on EU legislation; to provide parliamentarians with informed accurate information on matters relating to the Wood Panel Industry; and to raise the profile of the Wood Panel Industry in Parliament and in the country and draw attention to the contribution made by it to the UK environment and economy. "
