Wolfgang Strasdas is currently a visiting scholar at the Center on Ecotourism and Sustainable Development "Stanford Office. He is a professor for Sustainable Tourism Management at the University of Eberswalde near Berlin, Germany, and a board member of CESD's sister organization, The International Ecotourism Society (TIES). He has extensively worked as a consultant and trainer on ecotourism-related issues in all continents. His current research on the relationship between tourism and global warming is focussing on sustainable transportation and carbon offsetting." [1]
