Winifred Kamit

Mrs Winifred Kamit is a Director of Lihir Gold Ltd and was "appointed to the Board in October, 2004. Mrs Kamit is currently Senior Partner at Gadens Lawyers in Port Moresby, and holds positions as President of the PNG Business Council, Councillor of the Institute of National Affairs and Immediate Past President of the PNG Institute of Directors. She is also a director of New Britain Palm Oil Limited, InterOil Limited and South Pacific Post Limited. Mrs Kamit has held senior positions in the PNG Public Service, including a three-year appointment as Commissioner of the Public Services Commission." [1]
