William T. Alpert's Vita lists both the Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut and the William H. Donner Foundation of New York.[1]

Among his several publications, reviews, and papers, Alpert lists himself as Editor of The Canadian Crisis, which was published by the Donner Foundation in 1992. Alpert was co-editor with Sol Sanders and James V. Capua.

Since 1993, the William H. Donner Foundation and the Upjohn Institute have both provided Alpert with grants to investigate "non-wage compensation in Canada and the United States with Stephen Woodbury."[2]

Foundation Experience

From 1986 until 1999 (present), Alpert served as an Associate Professor of Economics, University of Connecticut (Tenured 1986). Beginning in 1998, he is listed as the Managing Partner of Foundation Services, LLC.

In February 1999, Alpert is listed as Special Advisor and Senior Program Officer (part-time) to the William H. Donner Foundation, Inc. Alpert became a Consultant to the Foundation in 1987.

Alpert and Capua now co-manage the Foundation as FIDES Philanthropic Management and Advisory Services, LLC.
