Viscount Massereene & Ferrard
John David Clotworthy Whyte-Melville Foster Skeffington is the 14th Viscount Massereene, 7th Viscount Ferrard (b. 1940). He is also known as Baron Lougneagh and Baron Oriel; formally known as Viscount Massereene & Ferrard
He is President of the Conservative Monday Club and patron of Right Now! magazine. (Right Now!which is edited by the "self-described 'neighbourhood Nazi' Derek Turner, who until moving to England was the leader of an Irish fascist group called the Social Action Initiative.)[1]
According to a "New Statesman" article of December 10, 2001 by Johann Hari the Viscount is quoted as saying,"If you say I am a racist, yes I certainly am, and proud of it."
He participated on the council of the Freedom Association and was a signatory to Lord Ashbourne's "The Sanity Petition" ("Sanity" is an awkward anacronym for "Subjects Against the NIce TreatY" [sic]) [2] as "Baron Oriel".
