Virginia L. Anderson
"Ms. Anderson is currently a Principal of VLA Consulting, a sole proprietorship. From May 2007 through November 2008, Ms. Anderson was President of the Safeco Insurance Foundation, a private charitable foundation established by Safeco Insurance in Seattle, Washington. From 1988 to April 2006, Ms. Anderson was the Director of the Seattle Center, a 74-acre, 31-facility urban civic center located in Seattle, Washington. Previously, Ms. Anderson spent ten years at Cornerstone Development Company, a Seattle real estate and property management firm, where she served as senior vice president of several key divisions. She has served on multiple corporate and civic boards, including Washington Energy Company, U.S. Bank of Washington, United Way of King County Annual Campaign and the University of Washington Foundation. Ms. Anderson received a BA from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington. She serves on the Nominating & Corporate Governance and Organization & Compensation Committees. "[1]
