Biography

Dr. Miller holds a Ph.D. in Economics, and an MPH in Epidemiology and Health Services. His area of expertise is in the use of statistical economic survey and other methods for estimation of health care costs which show how the scientific and public health entities regularly integrate these methods to generate national and regional estimates. He also has knowledge about the fraction of actual health care expenditures attributable to smoking and will provide specific estimates for the smoking-attributable expenditures for various agencies in the State of Texas.
