Vestergaard Frandsen

Vestergaard Frandsen is a Swiss-based company that is the developer of the PermaNet 2.0, PermaNet 2.5 and PermaNet 3.0 Long-lasting insecticide-treated bed net for use in the prevention of malaria.

As of September 2008, the PermaNet 2.0, PermaNet 2.5 and PermaNet 3.0 were all being assessed by the World Health Organization Pesticide Evaluation Scheme. The PermaNet 2.0 net is in WHOPES - Phase III testing and evaluation.[1]
