Venezuela Awareness Foundation

The Venezuela Awareness Foundation is a Miami-based organisation which says it aims to "promote education of democracy and human rights" and "encourage free and democratic institutions in Venezuela".[1] Its head is Patricia Andrade.[2]

In 2005 Venezuelan lawmakers, on the basis of photographs and tapes of phone calls, accused Andrade of having links to Otto Reich and to the CIA. Andrade denied the allegations. [3]

Its domain, venezuelaawareness.com, was created in June 2004.
