Vector Tobacco, Inc., is based in North Carolina and markets low-nicotine and nicotine-free [Quest cigarette] products and the Omni cigarette, which claims to be a "reduced carcinogen" product. The Liggett Group is a subsidiary of Vector Group Ltd., which is a holding company that indirectly owns the Liggett Group Inc., Vector Tobacco Inc., and a third company, New Valley LLC, that is engaged in the real estate business. The Liggett Group manufactures and sells traditional cigarettes, and Vector Tobacco makes and markets reduced nicotine and no-nicotine products, and claims to research and produce "reduced risk" products.
