Valerie Nkamgang Bemo, MD, MPH, "a native of Cameroon, is a senior technical advisor for health programs at the International Rescue Committee's health unit, where she is responsible for health teams in the Democratic Republic of Congo and West Africa. She previously served as the emergency health coordinator for IRC, working extensively in Aceh, Indonesia and Chad. She has previously worked with Doctors of the World, Merlin and Doctors Without Borders in Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia. Dr. Bemo received her MD from the University of Cote d'Ivoire, her epidemiology diploma at the University of Paris, and her MPH from Madrid Autonome University." [1]
