Ufo Eric-Atuanya "is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rimsom Associates. Prior to setting up Rimsom, Mr. Eric-Atuanya was the Vice-President of Global Government Affairs & International Business Development for WorldSpace Corporation, a satellite communication company providing digital audio and multimedia services in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. At WorldSpace, Mr. Eric-Atuanya conceived and coordinated policy and regulatory programs to further the firm's position as the global leader in digital satellite radio technology. From 1998 - 2000, Mr. Eric-Atuanya was Senior Policy Advisor on International Trade to the US Secretary of Commerce. Appointed by President Clinton, Mr. Eric-Atuanya formulated and provided leadership on US trade policy.

"From 1992 - 1998, he worked in the United States Congress; notably as principal counsel to Congressman Charles Rangel on the Ways & Means Committee. While serving Congress, Mr. Eric-Atuanya was also Counsel to the African Trade and Investment Caucus. He co-drafted and sought passage of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). He also advocated, lobbied and worked towards (and during) the first Africa Day at the World Bank headquarters in Washington D.C.

"Ufo Eric-Atuanya, a Nigeria born U.S. citizen, received a Juris Doctorate of Law from the American University's Washington College of Law. He holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Economics and graduated Class Valedictorian from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association."
