"Tshekedi Khama has been the Honorable Minister of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism since 2012 where his passion and drive has transformed the ministry. Under his leadership the Okavango Delta was named the planet’s 1,000th UNESCO World Heritage Site, Botswana was voted Lonely Planet’s Destination of the Year in 2016 and is today recognised as one of the leading country’s in conservation and human-wildlife coexistence. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for Serowe West in 2008."[1]

"The Botswana Government’s Minister of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism, Tshekedi Khama II is a member of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP). He is also the brother of the current President of Botswana, Ian Khama, and one of the three sons of the first President of Botswana, Seretse Khama." [1]
