TruckEast is a Scania dealer.

In 2007 "Former Keltruck directors John Biggin and Simon Hobson have bought another Scania dealer, TruckEast, in a buy-in/management buy-out deal worth more than £10m. In 2006 TruckEast had a turnover of £65m with an operating profit of £1.2m. It operates from a dozen sites across the eastern counties. The new management team was backed by Nordic investment bank Glitnir; Glitnir Integrated Finance holds a minority stake." [1]

"Mr Biggin's partners in the offer are David Hall, Sales Director for TruckEast, and Simon Hobson, Keltruck's Finance Director. All will take up equivalent roles in the new organisation. As a consequence, Keltruck's founder and Chairman, Chris Kelly will take up the position of Managing Director for the West Bromwich-based company. Additionally, Andrew Jamieson, currently Aftersales Director for TruckEast, has been appointed to the post of Aftersales Director for Keltruck." [2]
