Trigen-Nations Energy is a collaboration between Trigen Energy Corporation and Nations Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tucson Electric Power Company. Trigen is subsidiary of Veolia Energy North America. [1]

In 1995 Trigen-Nations acquired the Trigen Colorado Steam & Electric Plant, a coal-fired power station that provides power to Coors' Golden beer brewing facility.[2]
