Trevor Kennedy was “a former journalist and right-hand man of media tycoon Kerry Packer." [1]
In 2003, Trevor Kennedy “resign[ed] from the boards of seven public companies, including Qantas, Oil Search, a Papua New Guinea oil and gas producer, and RG Capital Radio, Reg Grundys media company… It followed revelations in The Australian Financial Review that Mr Kennedy, along with flamboyant former Sydney stockbroker Rene Rivkin and former Labor government minister Graham Richardson, were the beneficial owners of a mysterious 38 per cent stake in Offset Alpine, a printing company.” [2]
