Trayvon Martin (February 5, 1995-February 26, 2012) was a 17-year-old African-American high school student who was killed by George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watchman. Martin's parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, were divorced. He lived in Miami Gardens, FL with his mother, but was killed while visiting his father in Sanford, FL.[1]
