Tony Gentile

Tony Gentile is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Beverages Council.

In August 2006 the soft drinks industry unveiled what it touted as new initiatives aimed at combatting childhood obesity. However, most of the announcements were already existing policies. Gentile told the Sydney Morning Herald that "the state governments have been restating old policies so we thought it was an opportunity for us to do the same." [1]
