Tim Crawford
Timothy Crawford, Ph.D. (Political Science), is a member of the Board of Directors of America Abroad Media.
"Dr. Crawford is an adjunct assistant professor in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University; a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University's Center of International Studies (2002-03); and a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies, at George Washington University. From 2000-02, he was John M. Olin Post-Doctoral Fellow in Foreign Policy Studies at the Brookings Institution. He has also held a National Security Fellowship at Harvard University's John M. Olin Institute for Strategic Studies, and worked as a consultant at RAND Corporation. His current research focuses on coercive diplomacy, third-party conflict management, and multilateral intelligence cooperation. His book, Pivotal Deterrence: Third Party Statecraft and the Pursuit of Peace, is forthcoming in the Cornell Studies in Security Affairs series. Crawford has published articles in Security Studies, Political Science Quarterly, The India Review, and Global Governance, and contributed to the Brookings Northeast Asia Survey, 2001-02. In fall 2003, he will begin an appointment at Boston College as assistant professor of political science."[1]
