Northern Rock bail-out
Professor Tim Congdon argued the British Government's bailout of Northern Rock bank would make money for the public purse. [1] In fact it cost the taxpayer £400m.[2] He was a signatory to a letter to the Daily Telegraph encouraging vote Leave for the Brexit referendum [3]
