3WE, the Third World and Environment Broadcasting Project, is a coalition of the UK’s leading international development, environment and human rights charities, which works for better broadcasting on ‘matters of international significance or interest’. It was formed in 1989 under the auspices of the International Broadcasting Trust (IBT) which is its parent charity.
