The Pizz was a defendant in the legal case of Philip Morris v. Rotter. PM sued the defendants for engaging in a scheme to distribute and sell trading cards that depicted notorious murderers, including some of the most well known serial killers in American history. The trading cards were sold in packages that mimicked the famous MARLBORO trademark and red "roof" appearance and at first glance resembled a MARLBORO package.
