Biographical Information

"Terry Hill is a civil engineer/economist and former Chairman of Arup Group. His career has involved managing infrastructure projects, particularly rail. He was Technical Director of Union Railways, the firm that delivered High Speed 1. He has previously led Arup’s global transport market comprising airports, highways, maritime and rail.

"He is Chairman of the Trust that owns Arup Group and also develops its continental Europe rail business. He serves on industry bodies including the World Economic Forum, the Advisory Council of Infrastructure UK and UKTI’s Construction Sector Advisory Group."[1]
