Terrence Scanlon has been the President of the Capital Research Center (CRC) and chairman of its board of trustees since 1994.
According to his biographical note he was Vice President for corporate relations at The Heritage Foundation prior to joing CRC.
"His public career includes an appointment by President Ronald Reagan to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission where he served seven years, including service as chairman during President Reagan's second term. He holds a B.S. in economics from Villanova University in Pennsylvania", his biographical note states. [1]
He also "serves on several non-profit boards and is a frequent contributor for various newspapers, cable news networks and radio stations."
