Ted Nugent

Ted Nugent is the former Amboy Dukes guitarist and enthusiast for "self defense" gun rights, hunting, meat eating, vigilante killing and a drug free lifestyle. At the 2005 Meeting of the National Rifle Association in Houston, Nugent announced that, "No one is allowed at our barbecues unless they are an NRA member." He also demanded, "Remember the Alamo! Shoot 'em! To show you how radical I am, I want to carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun and when they attack you, shoot 'em." The convention audience erupted in cheers.
