Technology Empowerment Network
"TEN is a global network of organizations and individuals whose purpose is to identify, support and empower projects that contribute to improving the state of the world. TEN has a special interest in projects, for whom information technology plays a central role in achieving their objectives.
"TEN is an initiative of the Technology Pioneers, a community of the [[World Economic Forum. The Technology Pioneers realise and acknowledge that much public good is done by organisations, which often have to spend their limited resources in search of support from others, rather than achieving the ends for which they were set up. TEN is an effort to shortcut part of that process." [1]
