Lor' save us from such temptation!
"The real cause of much of today's terrorism is not what the terrorist themselves claim is their motivation in their publicly stated agendas, rationalizations or values." See Republican Party
"The real cause of acts of terrorism is how these agendas, rationalizations or values..." See War on terrorism
"...were implanted into the terrorist's minds with mind control and cult control techniques by their handlers." See Paul Dundes Wolfowitz.
I'm inclined to delete this page and merge the useful links/refs into other pages.
The original lead par ref link went to a page unrelated to the content. So I have relocated it here for the moment. As well, I'm not sure FACT.net are experts on terrorist cults in the current context. In which case I'm inclined to delete the page.
- Terrorist cults are "the most destructive and visible examples of the dangers of the growing use of mind control and cult control techniques. Most terrorist organizations actively study and use mind control and cult control techniques to indoctrinate members into committing the horrific acts of terrorism that shock our senses. (The real cause of much of today's terrorism is not what the terrorist themselves claim is their motivation in their publicly stated agendas, rationalizations or values. The real cause of acts of terrorism is how these agendas, rationalizations or values were implanted into the terrorist's minds with mind control and cult control techniques by their handlers.)" From FACTNet.org / FACTNet.
The subsequent section is rather off topic. There might be a location for it elsewhere but the title for this page infers non-state terrorist groups not state military training.
A frequent response to this assertion is that state military training itself is the best example of this kind of indoctrination. By the end of a typical "boot camp" regime, soldiers likewise have no inclination, intent or capacity to question what their leaders tell them to do. They too are driven by their officers, with no reference to the "publicly stated agendas, rationalizations of values" of the political leaders who actually select the enterprises to engage in.
According to William Broyles Jr., in his article My First Twenty-Four Hours as a Marine, published in Esquire, June 1986, relates that as of 1968 the following intimidating dialogue was involved in this US government standardized 'training'
- You maggots got five seconds to be lined up outside.
- You girls stink! You got thirty seconds to get in the shower! Go! You better be wet!
- You got ten seconds to get back in the squad bay. Any motherfucker not in front of his rack in the position of attention, I am gonna unscrew his head and shit in it!
Followed by mindless exercises of many hours spent scrubbing toilet floors with their only toothbrushes, typical brainwashing techniques such as sleep deprivation, shoving others' heads into toilets, etc..
By contrast, the more seductive techniques of radical Islamist or drug cartels or other sponsors of "terrorism" may be much more appealing than joining the conventional military forces of most nations. In cases where it may be a choice of joining one or the other, or become a slave or victim, it seems not unreasonable that the cults would be popular alternatives. In Russia especially after the fall of the USSR and the emptying of the gulags, it was quite easy to recruit abused youth who had been born in the camps, even for such sure-death exercises as carrying unshielded plutonium around.
If anyone disagrees let me know ASAP. Otherwise I'll delete it in a day or so. --Bob Burton 00:58, 14 June 2007 (EDT)
