yeah, i know it's probably out of place on S/W, but i'm feeling feisty, and every now and again, i like to give the Honourable W. O. Douglas his due. if it doesn't belong, it's ok if it is removed.
it could have been worse. i could have gone for the irony of a Supreme Court Case that upheld anti-sodomy laws being named Bowers v Hardwicke. (i did not make up that title either). It does offer quite the mnemonic device to remember it, doesn't it?
