Controversy about accused teacher

I severely truncated this section after researching the ZeroIntelligence blog, which was the sole source for these allegations (the poster - a new one - at DailyKos linked back to that blog post). I found the article mentioning Hedrick here but decided not to buy it after the headline read "Teacher cleared of harassment retires" and the lede was "A male science teacher at Kucera Middle School who was accused and later cleared of sexually harassing female students, retired from the district this week." I'm willing to revisit this if someone can find more information, but, as Hedrick and his Democratic primary opponent said in their joint statement at DailyKos, Hedrick appeared to simply be fulfilling his duty in not going into any speculation about the charges, all of which had been found to be without merit. I will also say that personally I found the statement to be a very classy move on the part of Louis Vandenberg, Hedrick's Democratic opponent. Like I said, if anyone can come up with anything meriting the reinstatement of the content, I'm more than happy to reexamine this. Barring that, however, the content is truncated. Questions and serious concerns remain about controversial comments made by Bill Hedrick while president of the Rialto Teacher's Union. In spring of 2005, a verbal argument erupted between a young middle school girl and her teacher, George Warren. Soon thereafter, the middle school girl accused George Warren of sexually harassing her. Other female students came forward as well, corroborating a pattern of sexual harassment carried out by George Warren. The school district conducted an investigation. At its conclusion, George Warren announced he would no longer serve as a middle school teacher. Bill Hedrick, president of the Rialto teachers union, made it clear that Warren had been cleared by the school board, had simply retired of his own choice and that the sexual harassment allegations had nothing to do with his decision. Some have accused Bill Hedrick of protecting a child sex predator or a child molester since he is not a lawyer and thus would have no legal duty to defend the possibly criminal actions of George Warren [2]. In a statement published on the Daily Kos website, Bill Hedrick did not deny he defended George Warren nor did Hedrick assert that any of the facts contained in the zerointelligence.net blog were untrue.
