Biographical Details
"Susannah oversees the editorial direction, strategy and training resources at Movements.org, an online hub covering best practices for the use of digital media in activism. She also conducts outreach to activists in the Movements.org network and handles the application process for future summits and other training events. Previously, she worked at The Nation magazine, where she covered how the internet was changing politics during 2008's U.S. presidential campaign. In 2010 she received her Master's in Political Science from Columbia University, where she investigated the role of new technologies in democratization and development before deciding to leave academic research in favor of working directly with digital activists."
