Biographical Information
"Susan Scott-Parker is the founder and chief executive of Employers’ Forum on Disability (EFD), the world’s leading employers’ organisation focussed on disability as it affects business... Accustomed to working at the highest levels, Susan recently established a unique senior leadership team together with EFD’s President John Varley, Group CEO Barclays Bank. The President’s Group signals to colleagues, customers, and government that disability is a strategic business and societal priority. Together with the COO of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, Susan also chairs the Business Taskforce on Accessible Technology launched in 2008... In 2005 Susan led the development of the Disability Standard, a biennial benchmark exercise that measures business performance on disability... Having recently been appointed to the Board of the British Quality Foundation, Susan is also a longstanding board member of the Central School of Ballet. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2000 and received her Honorary Doctorate from Bradford University in 2003.
