"Susan McCue is a political strategist and the President & CEO of Message Global LLC, a communications and public affairs firm she founded in January 2008 to advance progressive campaigns, non-profit advocacy, activism and corporate social responsibility in the U.S. and globally. McCue served as the Chief of Staff for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) from 1998 - 2006 where she built and managed his leadership, policy and political operations. In 2004, The Almanac of the Unelected said McCue "can be found at the center of nearly every major debate and agreement in the Senate." She also oversaw Reid’s leadership and Nevada races. When he was elected Democratic Leader in 2004, she created a cutting-edge communications operation for congressional Democrats. She was a key strategist in the 2006 mid-term elections for Democrats and has helped shape many winning campaigns for progressives. Following the historic 2006 Congressional victories, McCue became the founding President & CEO of The ONE Campaign, a high-energy grassroots and grasstops advocacy campaign backed by U2’s Bono to make global poverty history. McCue elevated ONE into a national force and laid the groundwork for a powerful movement that uses state-of-the-art technology to bring hundreds of non-profits and millions of Americans together as agents of change.
