Susan Hitch
Susan Hitch "is a trustee of the Institute for Philanthropy. She was a Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford and also taught English at Corpus Christi and Wadham Colleges in Oxford. She has a strong interest in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia and has travelled widely in the new EU accession states.
"She worked for the British Council as a Reader at the University of Gdansk in the early 1990's and was a founder of the Gdansk Theatre Foundation, which is reconstructing a renaissance theatre built for the English actors who toured there in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. She is a presenter on BBC Radio specialising in culture and the arts.
"Susan Hitch is also a Trustee of the Sigrid Rausing Trust." [1]
