Surita Sandosham

Surita Sandosham is Senior Director, Global Leaders Programs and Networks for Synergos. "She leads the efforts to build and support the existing networks of Synergos which includes the Global Philanthropists Circle, Senior Fellows and Social Innovators. She previously served as former Director Partnership for Child Nutrition and was instrumental in building a multisectoral partnership in India called Bhavishya Alliance, including being its founding CEO, to address child under nutrition.

"Prior to joining Synergos, Surita worked for the Rockefeller Foundation as Associate Director of Working Communities directing the Next Generation Leadership Program. In addition, Surita has more than a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector holding senior executive positions in leading international human and civil rights organizations including Lambda Legal Defense Fund, Equality Now and Amnesty International USA.

"Born and raised in Singapore, she holds a degree in history and politics from the London University's School of Oriental and African Studies and a law degree from City University London. She is a trained barrister, admitted to Gray's Inn (London) and has practiced law in both Singapore and New York." [1]
