Sullivan & Cromwell (S & C) is one of New York's elite law firms.
Known for a strong international presence, S&C has been handling the bulk of Microsoft's work since 1992, including the various antitrust cases against the software giant.
Since its formation in 1879, Sullivan & Cromwell has made its reputation by being at the heart of blockbuster deals in the industrial, commercial and financial sectors. It had a hand in the creation of Edison General Electric in 1882 and US Steel in 1901, and represented numerous European investors who financed the building of America's railroads as well as the Panama Canal.
