In February 2012, Sue Saunders took over from Tom Wheatley as the Director of Rye Hill prison near Rugby. "Sue has 21 years experience in the prison service and has successfully governed two public sector prisons.
"After joining security group, G4S, Sue was involved in preparing HMP Birmingham for the move over to private sector management last year and was also involved in G4S’ successful bid to operate HMP Oakwood in Wolverhampton, which is due to open in April." [1]
