Steve Silberstein
Steve Silberstein co-founded (with Lachmann Sippy and Jerry Kline) and served as the first President of Innovative Interfaces Inc., the largest supplier of computerized information-handling systems to libraries world-wide. He serves on the boards of Mother Jones Magazine, Peninsula Library Foundation, The Sierra Club Foundation, University of California at Berkeley Foundation and the Goldman School of Public Policy. He is a life member of the American Library Association.
"Mr. Silberstein is interested in political affairs and issues of civil rights, intellectual property, social, economic and environmental justice. He has lived in Asia and Sweden and speaks and writes Chinese and Swedish.
"Mr. Silberstein is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and a Masters in Librarianship. He also graduated from the University of Stockholm Sweden with a Masters in Econometrics. He resides in Marin County, CA. " [1][2]

In 2005 Steve was "a managing director and the CIO of Lehman Brothers' Global Equities Division." [3]
