Sova Recycling
"Sova Recycling Ltd is part of Sova, a national charity, which champions social inclusion. Through more than 1000 trained volunteers, the charity delivers 65 projects around England and Wales working with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society.
"In the last financial year Sova supported more than 8500 people providing everything from employability training and mentoring, to mediation and reparation services and support to those leaving care." [1]
In February 2012, Sheffield City Council and Veolia Environmental Services announced "that SOVA Recycling is the new subcontractor who has taken over the management of the five Household Waste Recycling Centres in Sheffield for a period of five years. SOVA will work with Sheffield City Council to make sure that the residents of Sheffield have a viable alternative to just throwing their ‘bulky’ waste away." [2]
