"Solon Foundation is a space that seeks to question the model from multiple looks and fronts: art, video, research, promotion of human rights, women's rights, the fight against injustice. In just over a decade, the work of the Foundation has focused on recovering the voices of discriminated sectors who question the great social inequities and demand an urgent social transformation. Humanity is a hoax if not practice (Solon) The Solon Foundation was created in 1994 to preserve, promote and recreate the work, thought and spirit of muralist Walter Solon Romero (1923-1999) who preached in the walls, paintings, tapestries, altarpieces, engravings and art of social commitment to contribute to the practice of mankind by mankind."
