Biographical Information
Solomon Asamoah is African Finance Corporation's Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer. "He was formerly Vice President for Private Sector and International Investments at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). He has over 20 years of experience originating and executing transactions. Solomon was Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
"He later became a principal investment officer at the IFC in Johannesburg, where he led the IFC's activities across Africa in the ICT sector. Prior to IFC, Solomon was an investment banker with HSBC Markets in London. He was Manager for Southern Africa, where he was responsible for South Africa and seven other countries." [1]
