Biographical Information

"Shamit Saggar has been professor of political science at the University of Sussex since 2004 and was Chairman of the Legal Complaints Service of the Law Society between 2005 to 2011. After gaining a PhD in Government from the University of Essex, Shamit’s academic career in the UK has spanned the University of Liverpool, Queen Mary (University of London), and the University of Sussex. He was a Harkness Fellow at UCLA, 1993 to 1994, a World Fellow at Yale University, 2003 to 2004, and a visiting professor at the University of Toronto, 2008 to 2009...His latest book Pariah Politics has recently been published in paperback by Oxford University Press"[1]
